: Discover Burma’s lesser visited areas as you exploreBuddha-filled caves, hillside temples, colonial architecture, and Burma’s war-torn WWII history.

Day 1 Yangon to Hpa An

Pick up from your hotel and drive out of Yangon.

A stop is made at Bago and observe some local attractions and Shwetharlyaung reclining Buddha. Continue to Hpa An (4½ hours) by passing Thanlwin bridge.

Day 2 Hpa An - Mawlamyine

Visit Buddha-filled caves and the iconic Mt Zwe Kabin, where Rudyard Kipling drew inspiration for his poem 'Mandalay'.
Continue to Mawlamyine

Day 3 Mawlamyine

Walk through old colonial era buildings and drive south to the small town of Mudon, (20 km - 1 hour). The area between Mawlamyine and Mudon is very fertile and well known for its rubber plantations and the numerous seasonal fruits grown here. Visit a newly built huge reclining Buddha.

Continue to Death Railway,built by the empire of Japan in World World II and Thanbyuzayat,about 40 miles (64km) south of Mawlamyine, formerly the western terminus of the infamous 'Death Railway' on which Allied Prisoners of War were forced to work by the Japanese military. An estimated 16000 Prisoners died, of which 3771 have graves in immaculately maintained Thanbyuzayat War Cemetery.

Day 4 Mawlamyine to Yangon

Return to Yangon via amazing bridges , villages, farm lands and beautiful mountain range (245 km - 6 hours).
Arrive Yangon and transfer to your lodging for this night.
